Our Mission
It is our responsibility to make sure every Get (Halachic bill of divorce) is 100% valid and you are as comfortable as possible in the process.
All Gittin (plural for Get) are done with the supervision and counsel of some of the greatest Get administrators in the USA and Israel.
Opening a Case
- Must be living separately and have exhausted all means of rehabilitating their marriage before opening a case.
- Fill out the form.
- We will contact you within 24 hours. All cases begin with a video conference to discuss the nature of the get, overview of the procedure, and names of the parties.
- Video intake conferences are usually scheduled for within the next few business days, schedule dependent, and take about a half hour to an hour.
- The couple can come together to the video intake conference or separately.
- It is advised to be in a private room for the video conference to be able to speak freely without others overhearing.
- From the intake conference, the Get is scheduled for a date and time within the next week or so.
The Full Get Process
Read the step by step guide here for what happens at the Get and how to prepare.
Fees
- A standard get with both parties present is $800 if both parties are prepared to participate in the Get process. If one spouse is opening the case to summon the other to the Get, a $100 Hazmana (summons) fee is charged before the other spouse is contacted.
- Since a Get by agent (shelichut) entails more logistical planning and coordination, the Get fee is $1000 but potentially higher depending on travel and other complications that may arise.
- The fee is discussed in the initial video intake conference. Payment is due at the get via cash, Zelle, or check.
- For financial assistance, discuss your needs with the Bet Din to arrange a payment plan.
- The Bet Din reserves the right to not release certificates of divorce until payment is made in full.
Resources for Divorcing Couples
The Bet Din does not have the resources to offer legal counsel or emotional support. It is within each party’s best interest to seek professional support from capable individuals and organizations.

Resources for Agunot
The Bet Din does not have the resources to address cases of severe get withholding on its own. People who are suffering from a recalcitrant spouse would benefit from the aid of the following organizations:
- Organization for the Resolution of Agunot: ORA
- Vaad L’Inyanei Igun | No One Left Behind
- The LEV Organization
These and similar organizations advocate to ensure a Get is given correctly and that the families get the help they need in this difficult time.
